The issues of February, April, May, and June contain a small illustrated insert of 4 pages in the center called "Supplement." The endpapers reproduce the patterns of a fabric offered by AGB, different for each issue. Some advertising pages at the beginning and end of issues, often illustrated and colored with stencils.
The illustrations, typical of the Art Deco period, are unsigned; some cover vignettes bear the signature of Robert Polack. The issues are covered with crystal paper and inserted into a modern chasuble box covered in burgundy cloth, with the title and date gilded on the spine, and the interior covered with marbled paper. A beautiful collection of a complete year, rare in this condition. This luxurious Art Deco magazine was founded in September 1920 by the Société Albert Godde-Bedin et Compagnie (initials AGB recalling those of the magazine title), a textile factory located in Lyon. It was named Art - Taste - Good Style until September 1921. It presented the finest models from great designers Jean Patou, Paul Poiret, Doucet, Redfern, Worth, Jeanne Lanvin, Beer, etc., drawn and reproduced right on the pages or on added vignettes, most of the time colored with stencils, in the exact colors of their creation, as well as all the fashionable fabrics. In April 1933, after 152 published issues, Art, Taste, and Beauty was taken over by the Edouard Boucherit editions, which notably own Modes et Travaux; they renamed the title Voici la mode. Payment expected within 7 days after the end of the auction, thank you.
